I found Syndrome #7 in this list interesting, I think when certain people, especially women, claim they're "not ready" or they're "waiting for the right time" it's really just Imposter Syndrome talking. I think the more you wait, the more your confidence fades, and, for a lot of women, our confidence is already taking hits every time we so much as glance at the competition in all these male-dominated industries. At first I didn't agree w/ the article's use of the word 'excuses' since a lot of things mentioned are very valid barriers to venturing out, but now I can definitely recognise that a claim like "I'm not ready" is just unnecessary self-deprecation, or an announcement of your surrender before you've even began the fight. Anyways, made me think is all..
