Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss. It impacts 2% of the population but is not the only cause of hair loss. Many more are experiencing hair loss due to other causes (Lupus, Thyroid issues, medical treatment, autoimmune conditions etc.)
Having had the most extreme version of this condition my entire life, my mission now is to help support other womxn who are struggling with losing their hair.
I'm hosting a FREE event this Friday (March 12, 5pm EST) to celebrate the launch of my 1:1 Program. I'll be talking about the impact of social beauty norms on those of us who look a little different, and three simple steps we can take to break free of hair loss shame.
