I am currently following a course for iOS app development using SwiftUI with the goal to launch my own app this year. If you are on a similar journey – reach out, please!! Why entrepreneurship? I would like to put my potential at work to make the world a better place – either by realizing my own ideas or by helping others with theirs. My current role is Product Owner, and it is very much like heading up a startup inside the company. It starts with me building and pitch business cases for projects. Once approved, I work with users to understand requirements and write user stories. During the project, I work with the developers to turn those user stories into solutions which means going back and forth between the business and the IT teams, as well as doing a lot of testing. Once we‘re close to launch, I build the user documentation, the training materials including shooting video tutorials and I train users. After go-live, I measure and report benefits back to the business. When you work with me, you notice two things: First, I really care about my users loving the solution and I go lengths to ensure they do so. Second, I really care how we work together and whether we are enjoying the process.
